Rev. Rachel Paul Hartman is the most recent addition to the CCMI team. A graduate of Mercer University (2017) and Vanderbilt Divinity School (2020), she is ordained clergy (Deacon) in the United Methodist Church. Previously, she served full-time as the Chaplain and Director of Faith & Service at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Now part-time College Chaplain at Wesleyan, her daily ministry consists of meeting with students to explore spirituality, identity, and vocation. As part-time Executive Director at CCMI, she is focused on CCMI’s mobilization efforts to expand the mission and ministry of the community. Rachel enjoys spending time of various hobbies including sewing, gardening, and reading while raising her 2.5 year old daughter with her husband, Trey.

James Smith is the Director of Facilities and an administrative coordinator for the transitional housing program. James has a wealth of experience and skills that he brings to his work with the men in the program. James has a B.A. in Human Services from Mercer University, and is an integral part of our community.

Phillip Boyd, CAS is a Certified Addiction Specialist who brings over 30 years of Substance Abuse Counseling to us including building hospital programming at Piedmont with our beloved former counselor, Don Wilkinson. Phillip is especially invested in supporting veterans through his work and collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He currently serves as Case Manager for the men in the Transitional House.
